The Cumberland Art Bank was established in 2017 to build an art collection representing the best visual expression of Cumberland County, through an annual juried competition. The aim is to encourage artistic creation in this region, stimulate public interest in the visual arts, and raise awareness of Cumberland County, its artists, and their work.

The Art Bank is made possible through administrative support from Parrsboro Creative, the Municipality of Cumberland, the sale of limited-edition prints of the collection, other fundraising, and donations.

More information including the annual competition guidelines and images of these works can be found at: https://www.parrsborocreative.com/cumberland-art-bank
